Artists In Motion Dance Studio

Brenda Sorrells, has been teaching for more than 30 years. She taught 24 years at Christmann Academy of Dance (CAD)!  Brenda has a background in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, clogging & tumbling.  She has competed in both dance and tumbling. She continues her dance training by attending conventions with her students.  

Jennifer McCandless began her dance training at the age of 3 and has been teaching for more than 13 years!  She was a member of LHS Pom Squad in High School.  She is a graduate of Texas Tech University. She has attended numerous conventions and competitions throughout her dance career.  We are excited Jennifer is returning!

Kaelea Pena has been dancing for more than 14 years. She has studied ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, clogging, turns and leaps and pointe.  She has attended and  competed at numerous conventions. This is Kaelea's sixth year teaching, and we are happy she is returning!

Rebekah started with us in the Fall of 2018. We are so excited she is back with us.  Rebekah is from Midland, TX where she danced for several years at Dee Ann's Studio of Dance. She has competed and done several dance intensives.  She was Dancer of the Year Finalist with Celebration Talent in 2017.  She has studied tap, ballet, jazz and pointe.

Kristen Williamson began teaching with us in 2020.  She has studied tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, and irish dancing.  She is affiliated with the Ragtown Gospel Theatre in Post where she has acted in plays and choreographed sections of several plays and musicals.  We are excited to have Kristen joining us again!
